About this book

Smart Urdu Ki Panchvi Kitab is The Smart School’s Class 5 Urdu textbook. Every sabaq (lesson) follows the same seven-part study pattern — Tafheem (comprehension), Bahami Guftagu (oral discussion), word games, Zaban Dani (grammar), reading and memorising, Takhleeqi Nigarshain (creative writing), and Amli Kaam (practical projects).

Sabaq 1: Hamd-e-Bari Ta’ala (Nazm) (Page 7) — a hamd poem, with singular/plural (wahid/jama) grammar practice and a creative-writing task on ten good deeds.

Sabaq 2: Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH) (Nazm) (Page 13) — a naat poem, with synonym/antonym practice and a creative-writing task on the Prophet’s (PBUH) kindness to his enemies.

Sabaq 3: Rahmat-ul-lil-Aalameen (PBUH) (Page 20) — reading comprehension and essay writing based on given word cues.

Sabaq 4: Pakistani Rasm-o-Riwaj (Page 27) — Pakistani customs and traditions, grammar practice on changing sentence tense (past, present, future), and a classroom drama activity.

Sabaq 5: Tareekhi Imarat Ki Sair (Page 34) — a spoken and reading lesson on visiting a historical building and understanding the importance of heritage.

Sabaq 6: Phool Mera Watan (Page 37) — grammar on collective nouns, reading comprehension, a creative-writing task (a letter to a friend), and a practical activity on reading an electricity bill.
