Islamiat (Mutalia Islam), Class 4 (Jamaat Chaharum) is the Class 4 Islamic studies book for Allied School, published by Albakio International, available to order now for the 2027-28 session. The cover is deep pink and gold, with an orange star at the centre carrying the Urdu title, the Albakio International logo at the top, the words “Second Edition” and a bottom line saying it follows the Punjab national curriculum 2020. Around the star are photographs of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina at dusk, a gold Quranic calligraphy medallion, a blue and orange tiled dome and the Holy Mosque in Makkah with the Kaaba.
The book is in Urdu, so the contents (Fehrist) below are given in Roman Urdu with a short English note. It has seven chapters (Baab) and runs to about 110 pages. The big change from Class 3 is the Seerat chapter, which now tells the Prophet’s life as a sequence of events from the first revelation to the journey to Taif.
Full table of contents: all 7 chapters, every lesson and page
Page numbers are as printed.
Chapter 1 (Baab Awwal): Quran Majeed aur Hadith-e-Nabawi (the Quran and the Hadith)
- 1. Nazra Quran Majeed (p. 1)
- 2. Hifz-e-Quran Majeed (p. 2)
- 3. Hifz o Tarjuma (memorisation and translation) (p. 5)
- 4. Hadith-e-Nabawi (p. 7)
- 5. Duain, zabani (p. 10)
Why it helps: The same five-lesson routine as in earlier years, with a little more translation and memorisation each time. This steady repetition is how a child ends the year knowing more surahs than they began with.
Chapter 2 (Baab Doum): Imaniyat o Ibadat (faith and worship)
- Part A: Imaniyat (faith): 1. Farishton par Iman (belief in the angels) (p. 12)
- Part A: 2. Asmani Kitabon par Iman (belief in the heavenly books) (p. 16)
- Part B: Ibadat (worship): 1. Roza (Saum), fasting (p. 20)
- Part B: 2. Huquq-ullah (the rights of Allah) (p. 25)
- Part B: 3. Tilawat-e-Quran Majeed (reciting the Quran) (p. 29)
Why it helps: This chapter adds the next articles of faith (angels, the heavenly books) and moves worship from prayer to fasting and then to the idea of the rights we owe to Allah. For a ten-year-old who may soon keep full Ramadan fasts, the lesson on Roza is the most practical.
Chapter 3 (Baab Soum): Seerat-e-Tayyaba (the life of the Prophet, peace be upon him)
- 1. Nuzool-e-Wahi ka Waqia (the event of the first revelation) (p. 33)
- 2. Dawat o Tabligh (inviting to Islam and preaching) (p. 38)
- 3. Hijrat-e-Habsha, Oola wa Saniya (the first and second migrations to Abyssinia) (p. 43)
- 4. Shu’ab-e-Abi Talib (the boycott in the valley of Abu Talib) (p. 47)
- 5. Aam-ul-Huzn (the Year of Sorrow) (p. 50)
- 6. Safar-e-Taif (the journey to Taif) (p. 53)
Why it helps: Six lessons that take a child through the early years of the Prophet’s mission in order, from the first revelation to the hard times in Makkah. Learning the sequence, with its names and places, gives a Class 4 child a clear timeline and real examples of patience and courage.
Chapter 4 (Baab Chaharum): Akhlaq o Adaab (character and manners)
- 1. Sadgi (simplicity) (p. 56)
- 2. Adaab-e-Majlis (manners of a gathering) (p. 60)
- 3. Waqt ki Pabandi (punctuality) (p. 63)
Why it helps: Three habits that matter in everyday life: living simply, behaving well among people and being on time. Punctuality in particular is a lesson parents often struggle to teach.
Chapter 5 (Baab Punjum): Husn-e-Muamalat o Muashrat (good dealings and living in society)
- 1. Diyanatdari (honesty and integrity) (p. 67)
- 2. Huquq-ul-Ibad, Khidmat-e-Khalq (the rights of people and service to others) (p. 72)
- 3. Watan se Muhabbat, Zimmedar Shehri (love of the country and being a responsible citizen) (p. 76)
Why it helps: Honesty, serving other people and love of Pakistan get one lesson each. The last one links faith to citizenship, so a child learns that being a good Muslim and a good citizen go together.
Chapter 6 (Baab Shashum): Hidayat ke Sarchashme aur Mashahir-e-Islam (sources of guidance and famous figures of Islam)
- 1. Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) (p. 80)
- 2. Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) (p. 85)
- 3. Hazrat Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with him) (p. 91)
- 4. Hazrat Usman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) (p. 97)
Why it helps: Two prophets and two Caliphs, told as stories. The chapter continues the Class 3 stories (Adam, Nuh, Abu Bakr) and prepares for the next class (Dawood, Isa, Ali and the Sufi saints).
Chapter 7 (Baab Haftum): Islami Taalimat aur Asr-e-Hazir ke Taqaze (Islamic teachings and the needs of the present time)
- 1. Safai ki Zaroorat o Ahmiyat (the need and importance of cleanliness) (p. 102)
- 2. Pani ki Ahmiyat (the importance of water) (p. 106)
Why it helps: The book ends with two practical, modern lessons, cleanliness and water, so a child links Islamic teaching to the way we live today. They are also good topics to practise as a family: not wasting water and keeping the house clean.
